oh yeah---that zine idea!

i like zines. in my life i have tried to make a couple. i have a lot to say about a lot of things but i have never felt confident enough to fill a little book with my opinions. so in my attempts at zine-making i always open submissions up to everyone i know. sometimes even to people i don't know. i should have learned my lesson over 10 years ago--the one about not relying on people so much. i still haven't learned that lesson. last november was my latest attempt at the zine-making idea. even though a record setting (hand full) of submissions followed up previous agreements it still wasn't enough. this has led me to take a new approach! a new segment on this blog...

first installment is an interview i'd like to proudly put out into the world and onto the internet...

shows

The Boozehound Gandy Dance had another successful show last friday. More importantly, a show at a real venue. I think this shows that the show is only going to get bigger and better. There's a lot of talk about future shows We've got a following of ardent fans and more and more material. Planning a "hobo ghost show" for October. That's in addition to the Halloween Art Show. Not only is this the first art show i've curated, it's the first ever PoMoNoBo show.

It's been a busy year. Going to be a busy autumn. After these October shows clear up it'll be time to seriously work on the poetry show and have it staged by April 08.
